Robbery is a planned crime and must be executed rapidly.
Robbery Prevention Tips
Keep alert and report suspicious persons or activity to security
or law enforcement immediately.
Acknowledge every person who enters the business.
Keep the exterior and interior of the business well lit and
clutter-free.
Never restrict the view into and out of the business with signs,
posters, etc.
Keep a minimum amount of cash on hand at all times.
Have at least two people to open and close the establishment.

Tips
Do not count deposits or money until the business is locked up.
Leave the cash register empty and open after hours.
Leave an interior and some exterior lighting on, so the business
can be seen by passing traffic.
Move valuable merchandise away from windows and door to prevent
smash and grabs.
Make sure your address is visible so emergency personnel can
easily locate your business.
