The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Civil Enforcement Unit is a multifaceted specialized unit organizing service for:

• Orders of Attachment
• Writ of Possession’s (Real Property-Evictions & Personal Property)
• Orders of Seizure
• Writs of Execution (Money Judgment)
• Repossessions of Personal Property (pursuant to court order)
• Levies pursuant to Executions Consume


The Civil Enforcement Unit organizes and conducts sales of personal and real property at public auction. These auctions are held several times a year; Notices are posted at the Pitt County Court House for the public to view.
